After a quiet offseason, the Yankees appear to be making an addition to the pitching staff.

According to multiple reports, the Yankees are getting lefty pitcher Ryan Weathers in a trade with the Miami Marlins in exchange for multiple prospects. Jack Curry of the YES Network was the first to report the move.

Curry added that the four prospects, all position players, going to the Marlins in the trade are Dylan Jasso, Brendan Jones, Dillon Lewis and Juan Matheus.

Weathers, 26, is entering his sixth season of MLB service. He was limited to just 24 starts over the last two seasons with Miami, allowing 52 earned runs and striking out 117 batters over 125 innings.
