Expanding e-commerce supply chains
Temu is a global e-commerce platform which connects consumers with manufacturers, business partners and brands globally. It has operations in more than 90 markets around the world, with an aim of providing affordable products to consumers.
Now, it has signed an MOU with bpostgroup, a leading logistics expert which operates in Western-Europe, North America and Asia. The partnership will support sellers across Europe and expand global collaboration between the two companies. As a result, European sellers and buyers will see greater efficiency and reliability when using Temu’s platform.
The partnership will create a more streamlined and efficient logistics network, bringing together expertise from both companies. Temu brings its capability in e-commerce, with millions of users and streamlined supply chains due to its multi-national network. To the partnership, bpostgroup adds its expertise in parcel operations, transportation and logistics infrastructure.
Temu and bpostgroup will make their operations more accessible, by creating new pick-up and drop-off networks and implementing new services for heavier parcels and a range of diversified delivery models. This allows sellers and buyers to better control their parcel delivery services, meaning less missed deliveries and better visibility.
“This agreement is a strong step forward in deepening our international partnership,” says James Edge, CEO of Cross Border division at bpostgroup.
