Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. has promoted Paul Spraycar to director of finance, effective immediately, according to a statement released Wednesday.

Spraycar succeeds Pete Blei, who advanced earlier this month to vice president of finance for the resort.

Spraycar joined Ski Corp. earlier this year as a senior financial analyst, where he played a key role in shaping the resort’s financial strategy and asset growth. Before joining the resort, he worked with Upper Basin Capital in Steamboat Springs and previously oversaw conservation investment programs with The Nature Conservancy.

As director of finance, Spraycar will guide budgeting, forecasting and capital investment planning across resort operations. He’ll be responsible for evaluating financial performance and helping steer long-term investment decisions to enhance the resort’s value.

“Since moving to Steamboat in 2019, I’ve been inspired by how deeply our community values Steamboat’s legacy,” said Spraycar in the statement. “It’s a privilege to be part of the team that works every day to preserve and enhance that experience for everyone who lives in or visits Steamboat.”
