Gopuff, on online ecommerce and delivery platform, has added a new investor to its lineup – Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo.

On Feb. 11, Gopuff and Antetokounmpo announced a “strategic partnership” which includes content creation, new product development and engagement opportunities with fans.

“Gopuff has been part of my real routine, and I love using their service daily. Late nights after games, early mornings, and everything in between. When I need something fast, I know they’ve got me. I respect how they move. I’m proud to officially join the Gopuff team as a shareholder and we’re just getting started. Stay tuned,” Antetokounmpo said in a statement.

Based in Philadelphia, Gopuff markets itself as a online delivery service with more than 5,000 products that can be delivered in “as fast as 15 minutes.”

“Hearing Giannis talk about Gopuff as part of his everyday routine is exactly why this partnership means so much to us,” Rafael Ilishayev, CEO and co-founder of Gopuff, said in a statement.“We’re most excited to work with partners who don’t just stand behind the brand, but actively experience it and help evolve it through their ideas and feedback. Giannis brings that energy in a big way, and we’re excited to build alongside him to create truly one-of-a-kind experiences that raise the bar for our customers.”

Already, Antetokounmpo has a line of candy with Gopuff, the Giannis FR34K gummies, that are available for $4.99.

Antetokounmpo is not the first athlete to be involved with the company. Former NFL quarterback Tom Brady launched GOAT Gummies in June 2025. Brady has been with the company since 2024.

Neither the company nor Antetokounmpo have revealed publicly how much money was invested in this partnership.

Antetokounmpo has announced several different business in recent days which include a investment in the prediction market platform Kalshi, and England’s Chelsea FC women’s team.
