WASHINGTON — If you’re still hoping for Giannis Antetokounmpo to join the Knicks, the latest developments make a happy resolution more feasible.
According to The Athletic, the offers for Antetokounmpo are so underwhelming that the Bucks are likely to keep their star player past the Thursday trade deadline.
“This saga looks likely to extend into the summertime,” wrote veteran insider Sam Amick, citing sentiment from rival execs and agents.
The Knicks, as we’ve been harping at The Post, currently don’t have the assets to win a bidding war for Antetokounmpo, who would represent the greatest player traded from an Eastern Conference team since Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
