AVITdirect – an ecommerce platform that aims to simplify the procurement of professional-grade AV and IT equipment – has expanded into mainland Europe.
Launched by Project Audio Visual (PAV), AVITdirect is designed to blend the speed of digital commerce with the depth of real-world integration expertise. PAV’s long-standing presence in the Netherlands will provide a strong foundation for the platform’s expansion.
Unlike traditional sales models that prioritise volume, AVITdirect offers a curated range of high-quality AV and IT products, paired with the guidance needed to support integration, deployment and long-term use.
Customers in Europe will benefit from local fulfilment, reduced shipping times and warranties that meet country-specific standards.
The AVITdirect platform features more than 30 vendors, including Audiebant, Crestron, GoBright, Huddly, LG, Neat, Samsung, Shure, Sony and Turtle AV.
Regional vendors
The company also plans to onboard regional vendors, expanding access to hard-to-find, specialist products.
In addition to everyday essentials, AVITdirect provides exclusive product bundles tailored to common use cases, helping customers find compatible, cost-effective solutions without the guesswork.
Steve Hudson, AVITdirect’s chief operations officer, said: “The goal is to create a supply chain that’s not just fast, but smart and aligned with how people actually want to purchase AV and IT technology today.
“We’ve proven in the UK that you can combine ecommerce efficiency with specialist insight – and now we’re ready to scale that approach.”
