A Bitcoin-themed watch limited to 100 pieces has been added to Jacob & Co.‘s Epic X Bridges collection through a partnership with Bitcoin mining company GoMining.

GoMining recently announced Epic X GoMining, a 44 mm skeleton dial Bitcoin-themed Jacob & Co. piece that also offers owners Bitcoin mining power.

The launch of the watch has been confirmed by Instagram posts from Jacob & Co.

Epic X GoMining, which retails for $40,000, grants holders ownership of 1,000 terahashes of Bitcoin mining power from GoMining’s facilities, allowing them to earn and manage Bitcoin rewards, GoMining said.

Don’t Miss:

GoMining’s platform places the cost of 1 TH at $23 with an anticipated monthly return of $1.20 monthly at current Bitcoin prices. Assuming the math follows, 1,000 TH would typically cost $23,000 and earn users about $1,200 monthly at current Bitcoin prices.

“Collectors want objects that do more,” GoMining CEO Mark Zalan said in a statement. “This collaboration brings together a Swiss mechanical statement piece and a digital miner with real hash power. Owners get a Jacob & Co. watch they can wear and a digital miner they can manage and earn Bitcoin from. It is a new kind of luxury experience that merges craft, computing, and Bitcoin.”

GoMining said it would officially introduce Epic X GoMining during the Consensus  cryptocurrency conference in early February. The watch would also be offered at Jacob & Co. showrooms in Miami and New York as well as the watchmaker’s website and GoMining’s marketplace, GoMining said.

Masterworks allows investors to buy fractional shares of museum-quality, blue-chip art starting at relatively low minimums, giving access to an asset class historically reserved for institutions and the ultra-wealthy.

By acquiring, insuring, and eventually selling works by artists like Banksy, Basquiat, and Picasso through Securities and Exchange Commission-qualified offerings, Masterworks aims to provide exposure to a scarce, globally traded asset with low correlation to stocks and bonds. With hundreds of artworks launched and representative annualized net returns in the mid-teens on select exits, Masterworks offers investors a way to diversify portfolios with long-term art appreciation—without needing to buy or manage a masterpiece outright.

Meanwhile, Epic X GoMining is not Jacob & Co.’s first Bitcoin-themed watch. The watchmaker released the Astronomia Solar Bitcoin, a 25-piece addition to its Astronomia collection, in 2022. The watch retailed for $348,000, nearly 10 times the price of the Epic X GoMining.

Jacob & Co. did not immediately respond to a request for comment from Benzinga.
