We heard from Elon Musk recently when he spoke in Davos, was interviewed by Larry Fink, talked about robots, talked about some of the other aspects of the business. Pras Subramanian who covers Tesla joining us um now. So, what should we be I mean there’s there’s always the disconnect between like the far away, long away promises from Tesla and what’s happening in the here and now. So in that latter category, what will we be paying attention to?

So, you know, in the here and now real quick, you know, the estimates that analysts looking for or analysts are compiling for for Q4 earnings are 25.1 billion, slightly lower than last year’s revenue figure. uh on adjusted EPS of 45 cents a share, right? Uh so that’s the here and now, right? Um but but as we know, we saw deliveries coming for Q4. They they were down 15% to 418,000 units with full year sales down 8%, right? So, what really matters, right? And I think that’s what you’re you’re hinting at uh uh Julie is the the further out stuff. So robo taxis, right? Uh I think there’s going to be a lot of interest in what Musk and company have to say about the safety monitors being pulled on a limited basis in Austin. Uh how many have been pulled, when will all them be removed potentially? Is that is that a target? There’s some questions there to be asked. And when do we see the tests in Arizona and Nevada coming up? Uh it’s a very slow roll out here for Tesla for the with regards to robo taxis. You know, Waymo meanwhile, entering new regions and territories seemingly every day. Uh the other big thing is the cyber cap, right? That roll out is is Musk will be very slow at first. April was I guess the the timeline of the the initial start of production for that. Uh we’ll see if that’s still on the horizon for their purpose built robotaxi. Finally Optimus, that’s the really way out bet there, right? So Morgan Stanley believes that we’ll see the Gen 3 robot that version later this year. Musk’s vision of robots in the factory by the end of the year, probably kind of far-fetched. So I think Wall Street and investors will be looking for more color on what’s actually doable.

Yeah, should be quite interesting and the stock has kind of stalled out this year. So that’s also the backdrop for this report. Thanks Pross, appreciate it.
