as we talk about this great AI trade and tread and how it evolves from here. You talked about how we could be entering, you say, AI takeoff. What does that mean exactly, Chris?

Yeah, I think that we have to grapple with the fact that AI advancements are happening very, very quickly and potentially more quickly than I think a lot of people appreciate. I think we are seeing evidence of what’s called recursive self-improvement of AI systems, which means AI systems that are training the next generation of AI systems.

And this isn’t to say, I think a lot of people confuse this with ideas of AGI or something like that. It’s not that. It’s more just the idea that the rate of advancement of AI models is going is increasing, uh, is is is increasing at an accelerating rate.

So, I think we are going to see more and more powerful models in the near future and you’re seeing also like massive investment from US companies that is also facilitating that. So the implications of that are significant.

It means that this is going to be an even bigger driver of the market, an even bigger driver of national security, and probably a big even more important factor in kind of geopolitics, international relations. Uh, I think that we have to kind of we’re going to have to adapt to policies that are a little more uncomfortable faster than we currently are.
