The city of Davis announced today that city manager Daryel Dunston has named Alberto Preciado to the role of finance director effective Feb. 2, 2026.
The finance director is responsible for providing administrative direction and oversight for all functions and activities of the city’s Finance Department including financial planning, cash and asset management, debt management, revenue administration and collection, purchasing and payroll.
