Memphis Grizzlies point guard Ja Morant put on a show in his first game back after a six-game absence due to a right calf contusion.
Morant finished with 24 points and 13 assists in a 126-109 Grizzlies win over the Orlando Magic at O2 Arena in London.
Morant’s name has been the center of trade talks in recent days after reports surfaced that the Grizzlies would listen to trade offers on the point guard.
When Morant was asked about the trade rumors on Jan. 14, he simply said, “live with it.”
After the win on Jan. 18, Morant expressed his desire to stay with the Grizzlies by referencing the Grizzlies logo tattoo that he has on his back.
“If anybody in here knows me, I’m a very loyal guy,” Morant said. “I got a logo on my back, so that should tell you exactly where I want to be.”
