The City of Sheboygan’s Finance and Personnel Committee is to consider a purchase agreement for nearly 60 acres of South Pointe Industrial Park Land with Amazon on Monday. According to the resolution before the committee, the land is intended for development as a Class A logistics facility.
The 58.1 acres of land would be sold at a rate of $35,000 per acre, totaling $2,033,500. If approved, the measure would then be considered by the full Common Council on January 19th.
The committee meets at 6 PM Monday, and the meeting can be viewed on the City’s live streaming outlets.
