It looks quite likely that the Dallas Mavericks will trade Anthony Davis sooner rather than later. Even though AD has shown flashes of brilliance, the franchise needs to build its future around Cooper Flagg. What matters now is who they get in return, and a Warriors star is being reported as a potential piece in a Davis trade.
The Golden State Warriors need some serious firepower if they want to win another NBA championship with Stephen Curry. Davis would be an excellent addition for them. The positive aspect is that the Mavericks are seeking a talented young player in return, and the Warriors have Kuminga.

If the Warriors are to trade for Davis and include Kuminga, they will also need to include another star. Matching salary is key, which means either Jimmy Butler or Draymond Green might have to be a part of the deal. It’s hard to see that happening, although a move like this might benefit both teams.
