Las Vegas Raiders star edge-rusher Maxx Crosby discussed his recent involvement in trade rumors.

“For me, I just sit back and laugh because I know my truth and when I go to bed at night I have a smile on my face because I don’t have to explain nothing to nobody,” Crosby said during an appearance on The Herd with Colin Cowherd.

“So all the noise, it’s news to me sometimes,” he added. “I got up two days ago, I looked at my phone, and all of a sudden now I’ve got a bunch of PR people talking about what Maxx is doing. I just laugh, because if I address it then someone’s going to pick apart what I say there. It’s a lose-lose.”

Fox Sports’ Jay Glazer said Wednesday that he felt Crosby has played his last game with the Raiders.

Shortly after the end of the 2025 regular season, Dianna Russini of The Athletic also reported that “many believe Las Vegas will be open to moving its star pass rusher if the relationship remains at an impasse.”

Crosby was sidelined for the Raiders’ final two games of the regular season due to a knee injury that later required surgery.

In that time, Las Vegas clinched the No. 1 overall pick in the 2026 NFL draft.

Crosby “vehemently disagreed” with the Raiders’ decision to shut him down over their last two regular-season games and left their building after he was told that his season would come to an early end, per Glazer.

The five-time Pro Bowler is currently playing on a three-year, $106.5 million extension that he signed with Las Vegas in March 2025.

Crosby put together another strong season in 2025, racking up 73 tackles, 28 tackles for loss, 20 quarterback hits, 10 sacks and six passes defended in 15 games. He also amassed 53 pressures, according to Pro Football Focus.

Crosby doesn’t appear to be too concerned about his future despite the latest rumors, though.
